The Vashon High School Boys Basketball Team announced the following awards, as presented at their banquet Sunday, March 13.
Vashon High School Team Awards (as voted on by VHS players):
The team awards fall in line with the four ideals the team tries to reach: Championship Effort, Inspiration (playing with passion), Teamwork, and Improvement.
Varsity:
Most Improved - Jefferson Douglas (mgr.) and Ben Whitaker
Best Teammate – Jesse Hazzard
Mr. Hustle (championship effort) – Adrian Arceo
Most Inspirational (passion for the game) – Alex Wegner
