Vashon's Green Tide has plenty of reason to cheer this season.
The Vashon Pirate boys’ basketball team clinched a 4th consecutive Nisqually League championship last night when they advanced their league record to 9-1 in a win over the Life Christian Eagles.  Earlier that evening, Cascade Christian, their closest league rival, lost to Seattle Christian to drop back to 8-3.  With only two league games remaining for the Pirates, they are guaranteed at least a share of the title!
