The tough, physical Fife team overpowered the Vashon Pirate Boys in their first game of the season, played at Fife on November 30th. Vashon lost the contest with a final score of 35-49.

By the end of the third, Vashon was behind by 17-45. They rallied back to win fourth quarter, adding 18 points to their score while keeping Fife to 2.

“We have some things to work on,” said Coach Andy Sears.

Scoring for the Pirates: 22-Wegner, 4-Griffin, 3-Stoffer, 2-Rauma, 2-Bakker, 1-Whitaker, 1-Hazzard.
